Walk Cumbria
Walk Cumbria is a large-scale programme of community and outreach events which took place regionally throughout Cumbria during 28 April until 20 May 2007. Many different Christian churches have been working closely together, supported by volunteer teams from Through Faith Missions who, wearing their distinctive blue garments, could be seen walking and meeting residents in towns and rural areas.
Throughout the world, very many people, from widely differing backgrounds and cultures, continue to be inspired and discover the vital relevance and value of Jesus' life and his teachings, both for their own lives and their families and communities.
Walk Cumbria provided a wide variety of imaginative events to present different aspects of the Christian message to people from all walks of life and in everyday situations, aiming to address some of the key issues and questions that many are asking today. Additional events and meetings are still taking place, and advertised locally or on this website.

The Through Faith Missions July 2007 newsletter containing a final report on the mission is available to read or download on this site.
The mission and the subsequent follow-on events associated directly with it have now concluded.
This website will therefore be closing down after December 2007.
